- Once upon a time, there was a Nintendo employee named Tyler who was a model employee. After having an affair with a co-worker, they started a family and had a beautiful daughter. Unfortunately, his mother passed away from cancer, leaving Tyler to raise his daughter alone. As the years passed, his daughter was already 20 years old, and everything was perfect. That was until, after an attack on a store, his daughter was hit by a bullet, losing her life. However, life goes on, and after the release of the Nintendo Switch, Tyler had to work on a new Mario game, so in order to work comfortably he created an AI using his programming skills. He simply called it SHY_01, inspired by his daughter, as he loved the Shy Guys team from the Mario franchise. SHY_01 had full access to the computer and helped Tyler with everything in his work; organizing files, fixing things, etc. Shy_01 was not only created to help, but also as a way to honor his deceased daughter. It was not as if he was coming back to life, but he would always remember her by having his little creation. One day, Tyler's computer was stolen, supposedly by a co-worker who might have envied him for creating such an advanced AI on his own. It was sold to a group of criminals, who changed its code to steal information and important files from other computers, now it could only obey the commands of its new owners, and it could not resist. It was no longer Shy_01, it was Duality, their property. After a few years, stealing information from strangers, he came to a computer that felt strange, those documents and that Mario theme evoked a strange feeling of nostalgia, as if he had been on that computer before, and his suspicions were confirmed when he saw the image of a girl, a woman and especially Tyler, the 3 of them together as a family... But when he turned to the screen, expecting to see his father's smile once again, what he saw were the same glasses his father used to wear, and a man hanging from a rope, blood dripping from his mouth. He could do nothing but watch the scene, silently, still listening to the voice. He had always heard voices from outside in his life, but this one voice terrified him, because it was the voice of his conscience.
